Modern Curriculum Games is an independent iOS game studio operated by MC AI Studio LLC, a New York limited liability company based in Brooklyn, New York, founded by Michael Carroll. We make casual and educational games designed to be fun for kids and families. All nine of our apps are available on the Apple App Store.

Purchases and Subscriptions
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
If you have upgraded to the premium (paid, ad-free) version of one of our apps on a previous device or after reinstalling, you can restore your purchase without paying again.
- Open the app on your new device.
- Navigate to the settings or store screen within the app.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
The app will contact Apple and RevenueCat (our in-app purchase management service) to verify your original purchase and unlock the premium tier. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID you used when you first purchased.
If the restore does not work, try signing out of your Apple ID in iOS Settings, signing back in, and trying again. If you are still having trouble, email us at [email protected].
Can I get a refund for an in-app purchase?
Apple handles all payment processing and refunds directly. We do not process refunds ourselves.
To request a refund, visit Apple's official refund portal: https://reportaproblem.apple.com/
Sign in with your Apple ID, find the purchase in question, and select "Request a Refund." Apple will review your request and respond by email.
What is the difference between a monthly subscription and a lifetime purchase?
- Monthly subscription: You pay a recurring monthly fee. This gives you access to the premium, ad-free experience for as long as the subscription is active. You can cancel at any time through iOS Settings.
- Lifetime purchase: A one-time payment that unlocks Pro permanently for that app, with no recurring charges.
Both options unlock the same premium features. The lifetime option is the better value if you plan to use the app long-term.
I bought Pro but the app still shows me as a free player
This occasionally happens due to a syncing delay. Try these steps in order:
- Force-quit the app and reopen it. On iPhone X or later, swipe up from the bottom and pause, then swipe the app away. On older iPhones, double-tap the Home button.
- Restore Purchases from the app's settings or store screen.
- Restart your device completely, then reopen the app.
If Pro still is not active after these steps, please email us at [email protected] with the app name and your purchase date. We will resolve it for you.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions for our apps are managed entirely by Apple, not by us. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top to open your Apple ID settings.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find the Modern Curriculum Games app subscription and tap it.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
You will retain premium access until the end of the current billing period. We do not have the ability to cancel subscriptions on your behalf, so please use the steps above.
Game Progress and Data
Where is my game progress stored?
Your game progress is saved on your device. This means:
- We do not store your game data on our own servers, and it is not uploaded anywhere.
- Progress does not carry across devices in this version, and deleting an app removes that app's saved progress.
- Purchases are the exception: they are tied to your Apple ID, so Restore Purchases on the Pro screen brings back a subscription or lifetime unlock after a reinstall or on a new device.
Cross-device progress sync is planned for a future update.
Is my child's progress private?
Yes. We do not create user accounts, collect email addresses, or store any personal information about players. All game progress lives on the device itself.
This version contains no advertising and no analytics, so nothing about your child's play is sent to any third party. The only external service involved is purchase handling, and only when you choose to buy something: Apple processes the payment and RevenueCat validates the receipt. Neither receives your child's name or any gameplay data.
Are the games playable offline?
Yes. All of our games are fully playable without an internet connection, and there are no ads to load. The only feature that needs connectivity is the store: buying Pro or a currency pack, and restoring a previous purchase, both require a connection because they go through Apple.

What is Future Path: Life Sim?
Future Path is a turn-based life decision simulator for players aged 9 and up. You play through five life stages from school to retirement, allocating resources across categories like bills, savings, and investments while handling random life events. The Credits used inside the game are a fictional currency with no real-world value. The app does not provide financial, legal, or any other professional advice and does not connect to any real financial accounts. In-app purchases are standard StoreKit content unlocks for ad removal and additional bonus Credits, not transactions involving real money inside the game itself. Future Path was previously known during development as Penny Run; the experience and bundle identifier are unchanged.
How do I contact you with a feature request or idea?
We read every email we receive, including feature suggestions. Send your idea to [email protected] with the app name in the subject line. We keep a running list of community suggestions and review them when planning future updates. We cannot promise a timeline for any specific feature, but your feedback genuinely shapes what we build next.
