I also started toying with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers out of curiosity, and before long was building real ones. Two of the early ones are on GitHub: apple-messages-mcp-remote, a fork of an Apple Messages server with a remote mode so a cloud AI session can reach it, and mcp-timeline, which lets an AI assistant answer questions about your own Google Maps Timeline history.
